In addition, if you are using a particular service on this web site or accessed via this web site, you will be subject to any rules or guidelines applicable to those services, and they will be incorporated by reference within these Terms of use. Online payments for booking are made via Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. 11. Applicable law

You agree that these Terms of use and any dispute arising out of your use of this web site or products or services provided will be governed by and construed in accordance with local laws applicable at the site editor’s domicile.

CANCELLATION, REFUND  AND GENERAL POLICIES FOR MASSAGE ON A BARGE

At Massage on a Barge, we are aware that unplanned events can occur at anytime. Unforeseen circumstances can lead to reasons why one might have to cancel an appointment.

In order for us to provide a unique service and outstanding massage experience to all of our clients and also out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

ARRIVAL TO THE BARGE

Please arrive for your appointment at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to relax change clothing and prepare for the service. All services offered have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a more relaxed experience. If late arrival is unavoidable, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Multiple appointments (of two or more), and packages require at least 48 hours cancellation notice. If you need to change the appointment time, a fee may be applied due to limited availability.

If you are booking your massage within 24 hours of the actual appointment, there is no cancellation and you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.

No refunds will be made for Special Offers bookings.  If you cannot make your appointment at the allotted time and notify us in advance then, if possible, we will try to accommodate you with an alternative time.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

As a courtesy to our other guests and staff, appointments can be automatically cancelled 15 minutes after scheduled appointment time and charged according to cancellation policy. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of time from scheduled appointment duration. In certain cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be done at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.

SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

Sexual misconduct is forbidden. Client understands that any illicit or sexually aggressive remarks, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and client will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

We are aware that sometimes full prepayment may not be possible due to client’s credit or debit card facilities not being compatible with our online payments process. We truly do want each and every client to be able to experience our services and we will do whatever is possible to accommodate every situation.

These policies were adopted to ensure that the therapists time, the massage barge and its efforts be respected, and also to ensure that your massage experience be a stress-free and relaxing experience.

REFUND POLICY

No refunds will be provided for deposits or monies paid or cancellations received less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment. Cancellations received more than 1 week prior to the scheduled event are eligible for a full refund, and cancellations received less than 1 week, but more than 24 hours, prior to a scheduled event  are eligible for a 50% refund.

No refunds will be made for cancelled Special Offers bookings.

Massage on a Barge owners, management and staff reserve the right to make the final decision on any and all refunds issued.
